Pacesetter Teams Show Strong for OYSAN at Regionals

 Richfield, Ohio. June 30, 2011. The US Youth Soccer, Region II Championships, features top teams in the Under-13 through Under-19 age groups, beginning with registration and opening ceremonies on Friday, June 24. Round robin games are Saturday, June 25, through Monday, June 27, with semifinal matches Tuesday, June 28 and finals on June 29th.

Pacesetter’s U13 boys advanced to semi-final play, where they Sporting Kansas City Juniors edged a win over Head Coach Ryan Creech and the Pacesetter boys by 2 goals. In the U18 bracket, Pacesetter obtained a win over NFC Veleno (from Omaha Nebraska) to win a coveted spot in the Region Final on June 29th where they ultimately faced the KCFC Rangers of Overland Park, Kansas.

The mission of The Pacesetter Soccer Club is to provide N.W. Ohio youth the opportunity to develop individual and team soccer skills to their fullest potential through expert training and excellent team competition. The Club will address the physical, psychological, technical and tactical components of the game when training to ensure the best experience for each player. Their club philosophy centers on player development and professional coaches who are eager to teach children the sport of soccer.
